Girl Scouts Love State Parks is Back!
Join Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada for a fun, family-friendly day at Ice Age Fossils State Park, hosted with the Protectors of Tule Springs! Girl Scouts of all ages and their families will explore nature, learn from experts, and complete steps toward the Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Challenge.
Start by checking in at the visitor center to receive your challenge book, then explore interactive stations featuring park rangers and community partners. Activities include learning about plants and trees, understanding climate change, creating outdoor crafts, and discovering Ice Age fossils and local wildlife.
An optional morning service project (8:00-9:30 AM) is available with advance sign-up.
All participants will receive the Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch and the Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Challenge patch.
Important Details:
- This is not a drop-off event; caregivers must attend.
- Park admission is included.
- Bring a refillable water bottle.
- Wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and a hat.

CANCELLATION, REFUND & ATTENDANCE POLICIES
Cancellation Policy: Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada reserves the right to cancel or change any scheduled activities due to lack of enrollment, severe weather, or natural disaster. Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing or email to: customerservice@girlscoutsnv.org - ten (10) business days before the event to receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be issued to no shows. No transfers are permitted to be made from one Girl Scout's account to another.
Refund Policy: All refund requests must be made in writing to: customerservice@girlscoutsnv.org -Requests should include member's name, program name, date, and reason for refund/cancellation.
Attendance Policy: Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone, we ask that all participants arrive on time. Late arrivals may miss important, safety and critical information shared at the beginning of the event.Refunds cannot be issued for no-shows or for participants arriving more than ten (10) minutes late who are asked to leave.
