Tamale-Making Adventure: A Family Cooking Experience.

Roll up your sleeves and join Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada for a delicious hands-on culinary adventure!

Girls and their caregivers will discover the art of making traditional homemade tamales while creating lasting memories together in the kitchen.

During this interactive workshop, you'll learn step-by-step how tamales are made-from preparing and spreading the masa to filling, wrapping, and steaming each tamale to perfection.

Along the way, you'll explore the rich cultural traditions behind this beloved dish and pick up cooking tips you can use at home.

Whether you're an experienced cook or trying tamale-making for the very first time, this class is designed for all skill levels.

Expect plenty of laughter, teamwork, and fun as you work side-by-side to create your own batch of delicious tamales.

Best of all, every registered participant will make and take home a dozen handmade tamales to share with family and friends-or keep for yourself!

Come hungry, bring your creativity, and get ready for an unforgettable day filled with food, family, culture, and fun.

Spaces are limited, so register early and join us for this flavorful Girl Scout experience!

Important: Girls and adult must register. All ingredients and supplies are included.
