Roll up your sleeves and let's turn trash into treasures!

Spend your Saturday getting messy, creative, and eco-friendly with Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada and the Alchemical Opus Foundation at the Winchester Community Center! At this hands-on event, girls will discover the power of environmental conservation while learning how to reduce, reuse, and recycle in fun and meaningful ways.

Girls will repurpose old toys into unique, eco-friendly planters-giving new life to something once forgotten. Each participant can choose to keep their planter and nurture it at home, or take action by donating it to help beautify Las Vegas, making our city greener and brighter for all.

Along the way, Girl Scouts will:

  • Practice real-world conservation skills.

  • Learn how recycling and reusing items helps the planet.

  • Experience the joy of giving back to their community through environmental stewardship.

This event is perfect for Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors! While official badges are not included, this program supports the following badge steps:

  • Daisy: Use Resources Wisely

  • Brownie: Household Elf (Steps 3-5)

  • Junior: Gardener (Steps 2-4)

Every participant will receive a special fun patch to celebrate their creativity and impact.

Don't miss this chance to dig into sustainability, create something beautiful, and make a difference for our planet and community.
