Money Moves & Girl Power
Calling all Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors for an exciting afternoon of real-world money skills, smart spending, and future planning! This interactive Financial Literacy Workshop is designed to help teens take control of their money while learning how to make confident financial decisions for today and the future.
Girls will explore the difference between wants vs. needs, discover how to become savvy shoppers and smart savers, and learn practical budgeting skills they can use in everyday life. Participants will also dive into beginner investing concepts, explore ways to build wealth over time, and discuss how financial choices today can impact future goals like travel, college, careers, and independence.
Through fun activities, group challenges, and hands-on learning, girls will gain valuable life skills while connecting with other teens who are starting to earn and manage their own money. Whether saving for something special, planning big adventures, or preparing for adulthood, this event will help girls feel empowered, confident, and ready to make their money work for them!
Girls will earn Financial Literacy badges while learning skills they can use for a lifetime.

Ambassadors: My Financial Independence & My Financial Planner
Cancellation Policy: Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada reserves the right to cancel or change any scheduled activities due to lack of enrollment, severe weather, or natural disaster. Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing, or email ten business (10) days before the event to receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be issued to no shows. No transfers are permitted to be made from one Girl Scout's account to another.
Refund Policy: All refund requests must be made in writing to: customerservice@girlscoutsnv.org -Requests should include member's name, program name, date, and reason for refund/cancellation.
Attendance Policy
Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone, we ask that all participants arrive on time. Late arrivals may be missing important; safety and critical information shared at the beginning of the event. Refunds cannot be issued for no-shows or for participants arriving more than ten (10) minutes late who are asked to leave.
