Girls Try Hockey Clinic
Saturday, June 20th 2026  1:15-2:15 PM

Ready to hit the ice and try something new? Join us for an exciting beginner-friendly hockey experience designed just for girls ages 5-9! Whether you have never stepped onto the ice before or already love to skate, this fun clinic is the perfect chance to learn, play, and build confidence in a supportive environment.

Girls will learn basic skating skills, practice balance and movement on the ice, and even get the opportunity to try hockey sticks and pucks as their skills grow throughout the session. No experience is needed! Coaches and experienced youth players will work one-on-one with participants to help every girl feel comfortable and successful at her own pace.

Walkers and beginner support equipment will be available for girls who are brand new to skating, and participants are welcome to take breaks as needed during the clinic. We will have Skating Instructors, Hockey Instructors, and volunteers from the Travel Girls Hockey Teams on the ice to help guide and encourage the girls throughout the session.

Rental skates and hockey sticks will be provided at no charge. Participants are asked to bring a bike helmet or other protective helmet to wear on the ice.

Our goal is to create a relaxed, encouraging, and fun experience where girls can discover the excitement of hockey and ice skating.

No hockey or skating experience is required.
Beginner-friendly and skill-based instruction.

A fun patch is included in the registration fee.
