Calling all Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts for a fun-filled Financial Literacy Adventure! Girls will discover the exciting world of money through hands-on activities, interactive games, and creative challenges designed just for their age level.

 

Participants will learn how to identify coins and paper money, understand the difference between wants and needs, and explore smart ways to save and spend. Girls will also practice creating simple budgets for themselves and work together to plan troop budgets for activities, events, and even future trips and adventures.

This engaging, hands-on program will help girls build important life skills while having fun with friends and learning how to make confident financial decisions. By the end of the event, girls will earn their Financial Literacy badges and leave feeling empowered, inspired, and ready to become money-smart leaders!

 

Girls will earn the following badges during the event:

Daisies: My Money Choices & Money Explorer
Brownies: My Own Budget & Budget Builder
Juniors: Budget Maker

 

Badge fees are included in the cost of the event.

Attire Requirements

  • Favorite Girl Scout T-shirt
  • Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for all participants.

Hydration:

  • It is essential for all participants to bring a refillable bottle of water to stay hydrated throughout the event.

Attendance Policy

Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone, we ask that all participants arrive on time.  Late arrivals may be missing important; safety and critical information shared at the beginning of the event. Refunds cannot be issued for no-shows or for participants arriving more than ten (10) minutes late who are asked to leave.

 

Cancellation Policy: Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada reserves the right to cancel or change any scheduled activities due to lack of enrollment, severe weather, or natural disaster. Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing, or email ten business (10) days before the event to receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be issued to no shows. No transfers are permitted to be made from one Girl Scout's account to another.
 

Refund Policy: All refund requests must be made in writing to: customerservice@girlscoutsnv.org -Requests should include member's name, program name, date, and reason for refund/cancellation.
