Service Opportunity Available!
Join youth leaders from across Southern Nevada for the Community Giving Carnival on March 28 at Centennial Hills Park. Hosted by the youth-led nonprofit Creating a Giving Culture LV, this event brings students together for hands-on service projects that support individuals experiencing homelessness, as well as local shelters, seniors, and veterans.
Girl Scouts can participate by volunteering at the carnival, helping assemble care packs at service stations alongside other youth volunteers. Troops can also support the project by hosting a snack donation drive, collecting items like granola bars, fruit snacks, crackers, and other individually wrapped snacks to include in the care packs.
As a thank you for participating, Girl Scouts who volunteer or contribute to the donation drive will receive a Community Service Patch recognizing their impact in the community. This event is a great opportunity for Girl Scouts to give back, connect with other youth leaders, and make a meaningful difference.
This event is hosted by a third party. No Girl Scout Council staff will be in attendance, but we hope you enjoy the experience and make new friends!
