Paint your own adventure under the stars at Camp Frias!
Inspired by Vincent van Gogh's famous Starry Night, this annual Girl Scout tradition brings the beauty of art, nature, and the night sky together for an unforgettable camping experience. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Camp Frias, a certified Dark Sky location, Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to explore, create, discover, and look up at a spectacular star-filled sky.
But what makes Starry Night Camporee truly special? Girl Scouts are running the show! This event is hosted by our Service Units and Outdoor Committee, but the event has been fully planned, organized, and will be led by Girl Scouts from those Service Units. From activities and adventures to welcoming participants and helping make the weekend happen, our Girl Scouts are taking the lead and showing what it means to be a Girl Scout!
Girl Scouts can choose from a variety of art, nature, outdoor, and nighttime adventures, including:
Whether you're an experienced camper or experiencing the magic of camp for the first time, Starry Night Camporee is a chance to make new friends, build outdoor skills, unleash your creativity, and create memories that will last long after the stars fade.
