Ready for a full day of camp magic and adventure? Join us for Camp Try-It at Camp Frias, a one-day experience designed especially for Daisies and Brownies to jump into the fun, friendship, and excitement of camp life!
During this action-packed day, girls will explore a variety of classic camp activities, take part in beloved Girl Scout traditions, enjoy the outdoors, and make new friends in a supportive, high-energy environment. From hands-on adventures to camp songs and team-building fun, girls will experience the very best of camp in one unforgettable day.
Families have options! Caregivers are welcome to attend and explore Camp Frias while girls participate in activities led by camp staff. Girls may also attend independently to build confidence and experience camp in a supportive environment.
We also offer a convenient transportation add-on option. You can ride the bus with us for a fun group trip to camp, or families are welcome to drive themselves directly to Camp Frias. Camp is approximately a 90 minute drive north from the Girl Scout Council.
Lunch is included with registration, along with a camp shirt and a fun patch to commemorate the day (badges earned are not included). Please bring a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. Close- toed shoes are required, and as the weather will be warm, we recommend dressing in comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing.
