Celebrate World Kindness Day the Girl Scouts way!
Celebrate with the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada as we spread kindness in a BIG way! We're teaming up with Street Teens, a local nonprofit that provides safety, support, and hope to at-risk and homeless youth right here in Southern Nevada.
At this special service event, Girl Scouts and their families will roll up their sleeves to assemble hygiene kits packed with essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, and lotion. These kits may seem simple, but they're powerful-they restore dignity, confidence, and comfort for teens who need it most.
Here's the extra special part: Bring at least one new hygiene item to donate, and you'll earn an exclusive fun patch! Not only will you help fill our kits with love, but you'll also take home a badge of kindness to show off proudly.
Let's show Southern Nevada how Girl Scouts shine by making kindness contagious this World Kindness Day!
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation
Minimum and maximum attendance requirements exist for all programs. Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada reserves the right to cancel or change any scheduled activities due to lack of enrollment, severe weather, or natural disaster. Cancellation requests must be made in writing 72 hours before the event.
Event Cancellation Policy
To ensure the success and quality of our events, a minimum of 10 participants is required. We must meet this minimum within the registration deadline, which is two weeks prior to the event.
If this minimum is not met by the deadline, we regretfully reserve the right to cancel the event. In such cases, all registered participants will be notified promptly and offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future event.
We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us deliver meaningful and well-organized experiences.
Punctuality Policy for Event Participation
To ensure a smooth and enriching experience for all participants, we kindly request that all attendees arrive on time for the event.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, we ask that you refrain from joining the session. Late arrivals may disrupt the flow of the event and miss critical information presented at the beginning.
Please note that participants who are more than 15 minutes late will not qualify for a refund, as we must respect the time and efforts of all attendees and organizers.
Adults are encouraged to stay and join in the fun!
