Volunteers Needed for Family Fall Festival!

Girl Scouts are invited to be part of Mission Possible Charity's It Takes a Village: Family Fall Festival, a festival dedicated to supporting veterans, seniors, and children in need. This one-day event is packed with a variety of activities-and volunteers are needed to help!

There are two fantastic ways for Girl Scouts to participate:

1. Volunteer Roles
Girl Scouts can jump in to help with game and activity stations, greet guests, support the information booth, assist with vendor check-in, serve as roving ambassadors, or help with setup and cleanup. Volunteers gain valuable service experience while spreading positivity throughout the festival.

2. Host an Activity Booth
Troops can run their own interactive, hands-on booth in the Kids Zone, offering fun activities like make-and-take crafts, STEM mini-challenges, or kindness bracelet stations. This is a perfect opportunity to engage families, showcase Girl Scouts programs, promote troop projects, recruit new members, and create memorable experiences for children.

This is a fun, rewarding, and impactful day for Girl Scouts to gain service experience, connect with the community, and celebrate the positive difference Girl Scouts make. Troops can select roles based on age ranges to ensure activities are age-appropriate, and we'll work with you to design engaging, troop-specific booth experiences.

Important Deadlines:

  • Register for Activity Booth & submit concept: 9/05

  • Secure Vendor Booth (must volunteer): 9/12

  • Final volunteer sign-ups: 9/28

Don't miss this opportunity for Girl Scouts to give back, make memories, and shine at the Family Fall Festival!

This event is not hosted by Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada. There will be no Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada  staff present at this event.
