Join us in collaboration with the Nevada Department of Wildlife for a captivating nocturnal adventure.

Prepare to test your senses and delve into the intriguing world of creatures that come to life under the cover of night.

Perhaps, you might even catch a glimpse of them in action!

Location: Historic Railroad Hiking Trail, Boulder City, NV 89005

Our guided hike along the Railroad Tunnel Trail promises an unforgettable experience.

This outing has been rated as 'easy,' featuring well-maintained paved paths and gravel-covered trails with gentle slopes.

While bringing a flashlight is entirely optional, it can add an extra layer of excitement to your adventure.

Please note this is not a drop-off event-all girls must be accompanied by an adult.

Daisies can complete steps 1 and 3 of the New Animal Observer badge.

Juniors can accomplish steps 1 and 2 for the New Animal Habitats badge.

Cadettes can earn step 1 for the New Animal Helper badge.

 

Trail Description:

Our chosen trail is mostly flat and ADA compliant, featuring a gravel surface that's easy on the feet.

The hike covers a distance of 1.3 miles to reach the first tunnel, making it a manageable 2.6-mile round trip.
