The online portion of this training must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2-3 hours to complete the online portion. You will receive the link to complete the online portion of your training no later than 5 days prior to the date of your in-person training. If you don't receive the link to the online portion within that timeframe, please reach out to customerservice@girlscoutsnv.org.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive (by email) a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. You must re-certify at the time of expiration. You are responsible for submitting a copy of your CPR/First Aid certificate to GSSNV through customerservice@girlscoutsnv.org or adding the certification to your gsLearn account.
This training does not meet the qualifications needed for most water activities, please refer to Safety Activity Checkpoints for further information on requirements for water activities.
This course is for adults who are registered Girl Scout members only. In order to receive certification, participants will need to pass certain evaluations that may include a physical skills test and/or a written skills test. Participants who do not complete evaluations will not receive certification.
