Join us for a celebration of our nation as we participate in the Boulder City Damboree Parade. The parade starts at 9am so arrival time will need to be by 8:30am. Additional details like starting location will be provided closer to the event date.
Worried about the heat. Don't be! This year we will be participating in the water section in the middle of the parade route. We will provide water and water guns to drench the crowd in this section of the parade route. Be careful though...the crowd fires back (this also means you WILL GET WET). Dress code will be school appropriate bottoms, a girl scout or green shirt (no white shirts permitted), and closed toed TENNIS shoes (we don't want anyone slipping and getting hurt).
Feel free to come early to participate in the pre-parade activties and stay after for the post-parade activites provided by Boulder City. You can find more information here https://www.bcnv.org/806/Damboree
Also, at the end of the parade, you will find our very own SU15 members hosting a hot dog booth in Broadbent Park. If you worked up an appetite during the parade, they will be happy to help you with that (and they'd appreciate the support).
Troops must meet girl to adult ratios. Parents with tagalongs are responsible for monitoring their own, non-girl scout attendees. Girl Scouts may attend without their troop but must be accompanied by a paid parent or guardian.
