Care to Share
The Care to Share program is availabe during the fall season. The program is a great way to support local Girl Scouts and provide comfort to military personnel, shelters, and community partners. Once the cost of the cookies is covered, 100% of the proceeds stay in the community to fund Girl Scout activities and community service projects.
In 2021, more than 1,445 items were collected for Care to Share by our Girl Scouts.
Even in these unprecedented times, we were able to distribute the “gift of caring” to many including the essential workers. This small gift brought pure joy and gratitude to the recipients and they shared how much it means that we are thinking of them.
Fall Product donations for the Care to Share program will be open through October 24th.
How it Works:
- Girl Scout troops collect monetary donations from customers (many customers prefer to donate money, rather than purchase products).
- The donations are then used by the council to purchase units of nuts and chocolates.
- Those products get donated to our nonprofit partners.
It’s the perfect way for customers to give back to Girl Scouts and their community, even if they choose not to buy products for themselves!
