The Girl Scout membership year runs from October 1 to September 30. Annual membership dues* are $65 for girl members and $30 for adult members.

The Summer of Fun is a celebration of everything Girl Scouts love. Adventure. Curiosity. Friendship. And a whole lot of fun. Each week features an experience or prize that brings excitement, creativity, or pure summer joy. Renew once and you stay entered for the entire series of giveaways through the end of July..

For Families: How to Renew Yourself or Your Family toggle arrow

Log into MyGS. You’ll need the email address and password you used to sign up for Girl Scouts. If you need help accessing your account, reach out—we’re happy to help!
Returning to the same troop and/or volunteer role?
- Once you’ve logged into your account, click the “Renew Now” button to renew all members of your household.
- Review your cart, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and click the “Add Payment Details” button .
- Enter your credit card information for payment and submit. Note: Some Girl Scout councils offer financial assistance or allow Girl Scouts to renew their membership with program credits. Connect with your  local Girl Scout council to learn more.
- You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your membership renewal(s).
Not returning to the same troop or volunteer role?
- Click/tap on “My Household” in the left hand menu. 
- Check the “Select All” boxes or indicate the girls and adults in your household who you’d like to renew.
- Check the “Not Returning” box next to the troops or roles you’re not continuing with this year.
- You can continue to renew without choosing a new troop. Contact us to connect with a new opportunity in your area.
- Click “Add Renewal.”
- Confirm that the details for your household members are correct. Then, choose the membership year and select your desired payment type.
- Some Girl Scout councils offer financial assistance or allow Girl Scouts to renew their membership with program credits. Connect with your  local Girl Scout council to learn more.
- Review your cart, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and click the “Add Payment Details” button .
- Enter your credit card information for payment and submit.
- You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your membership renewal(s).

For Troop Leaders: How to Renew Your Troop toggle arrow

Why isn’t my username working?
Your username is typically your email address. If you have more than one email address, try each. You can also use the “Forgot Your Password?” link to send a reset email to your email address. If you’re still having trouble, contact our Customer Care team.

Why am I not receiving the password reset emails?
The password reset emails come from gsusacustomercare@girlscouts.org, so please make sure it’s added to your safe senders list. If you requested the reset email before marking our email address as safe, check your spam folder. If you’re still not receiving the email, contact our Customer Care team to verify that your username/email address is correct.

How do I reset my password when I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account?
Our Customer Care team can easily change your username/email address without requiring you to recreate your account. Contact us to get started.

Why can’t I see my family when I log in?
There are a couple reasons this could happen:

Another adult family member may be listed as the preferred contact on the account. That person must log in to renew. Contact our Customer Care team if you’d like to be listed as your household’s preferred contact.

You may have a second or duplicate account with a different email address. Try a different username. If that works, be sure to contact our Customer Care team to merge the two accounts into one.

Why can’t I see my troop(s) when I log in?
There are several reasons this could happen:

Troops are listed on a separate tab from your family. If you have more than one troop, look for the pull-down menu to change between them.
Check your member profile to make sure you’re listed as a volunteer in the troop.
Not all troop volunteers can access the troop tab. Contact us to see which volunteer roles they allow to access the tab.

If your background check has expired, you may lose access until it is up-to-date.

One simple step triggers a Summer of Fun!

Renew your membership . That's it. Once you have renewed you'll automatically be entered to win all the remaining giveaways from the date you register through the end of July.

One winner will be selected and announced each Friday through July 31 from the pool of all Girl Scouts who have renewed.

Winners notified by email with instructions on how to claim their prize.

Open to current Girl Scouts and volunteers renewing for the upcoming membership year.
Renewal must be completed through MYGS
One renewal equals one entry into all remaining drawings.
Must be 18 or older to claim a prize. Winners who are under 18 may have a parent/caregiver accept their prize.
Minors may participate in experiences only with a parent or guardian.

How Winners are Selected toggle arrow

Winners are chosen at random from all eligible renewals completed before the weekly cutoff.
Cutoff for each drawing is Tuesday at 11:59 PM PT.
Winners are notified by email on Friday and announced on the Service Unit Facebook page.
If a winner does not respond within 72 hours, a new winner may be selected.

Prizes cannot be exchanged, refunded, or transferred.
Some prizes may have blackout dates or restrictions set by the venue.
All prizes may have different expiration dates. Winners are responsible for checking expiration dates and redeeming their prize or experience before it expires.
Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada is not responsible for venue closures, schedule changes, or lost tickets.
Winners are responsible for transportation to and from the prize location.
