Winter Reading Challenge
Girl Scouts are invited to participate in the Winter
Reading Challenge, a fun and rewarding collaboration
between the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District
and Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada.
During the month of January 2026, girls will challenge themselves to read and log a total of 5 hours of reading. This self-paced challenge encourages girls to build strong reading habits while enjoying books of their choice.
Girls who complete the challenge and submit their reading log will earn a Winter Reading Challenge Patch sponsored by the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District.

Who Can Participate:
All Girl Scouts
Requirements to Earn the Patch:
Read 5 total hours during the month of January
Complete the Winter Reading Log (attached)
Submit the completed form after January 31, 2026
