Calling All Girl Scouts, Friends, and Families!
SWAPS Workshop: Making SWAPS for the National Convention

Join us for a fun, hands-on SWAPS Workshop, where Girl Scouts will learn how to create SWAPS (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere)-small, handmade tokens of friendship exchanged at Girl Scout events and conventions.
During this workshop, girls will create SWAPS specifically for the Girl Scout representatives from our council who will be attending the National Girl Scout Convention in Washington, D.C. These SWAPS will be shared with Girl Scouts from across the country as a way to represent our council and celebrate Girl Scout sisterhood.

Girls will:

  • Learn basic SWAPS etiquette and traditions
  • Design and create simple, creative SWAPS
  • Practice teamwork, creativity, and thoughtful design

Badge Connections:
This workshop supports skills found in badges such as Girl Scout Way (all levels), Brownie Craft & Tinker, Junior Craft & Tinker, Cadette Art &

Design, and other creative or leadership-focused badges.
All materials will be provided. Girls are encouraged to bring their creativity and Girl Scout pride!

A light snack and a fun patch are included in the fee. Make sure you don't miss out, register today! THIS IS NOT A DROP-OFF EVENT. Girls must have a caregiver, troop leader, or trusted adult with them.
