Blast off with Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada for Out of This World Makers! Girls will embark on an exciting STEM adventure as they explore the wonders of space through hands-on, creative activities. From launching rockets and building flying machines to decorating telescopes and designing their own alien species, girls will have the freedom to choose which activities spark their imagination.
This drop-off event encourages girls to explore independently while building confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Throughout the day, girls will have opportunities to work towards multiple STEAM-related badges for their level as they experiment, design, and innovate (badges not included). Each participant will also receive a fun patch to commemorate their out-of-this-world experience.
Note: Girls who are registered for both Session 1 (Build a Better World) and Session 2 (Out of This World Makers) are welcome to stay during the one-hour break between sessions, but they will need to provide their own lunch.
