International Women's Day - Pioneers in Skirts
Join us on Sunday, March 8th, 2026 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Galaxy Theatres-Boulevard Mall for a special International Women's Day screening of Pioneers in Skirts and a LIVE Q&A with the Director, Ashley Maria.
This inspiring documentary highlights the experiences of women in
STEM and Technology and sparks important conversations about equity,
leadership, and innovation. We invite students, educators, families,
and community members...anyone...to attend and celebrate the
achievements and impact of women shaping the future of our society.
Pioneers in Skirts is an entertaining, socially conscious
impact documentary that addresses the obstacles ambitious women and
girls experience. In an inspiring portrait of perseverance and
determination, we see how we ALL can address the stereotyping and
sexism that can chip away at a woman, limit her potential, and make
her feel like she must re-think her dreams. Real-life stories and
frank commentary leave viewers feeling hopeful, seeing their role in
the solution, and motivated to act. Link
