Creativity with a Purpose!

Get ready to create, connect, and spread kindness at Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada's Caring Cards Service Project! We're calling all creative Girl Scouts to join us for a fun and meaningful crafting experience where art meets heart.

During this hands-on service event, girls will design and decorate thoughtful, handmade cards to bring joy to two incredible causes:

Uplifting Deliveries - Help brighten the day of local seniors! Did you know that 33% of older adults report feeling overly isolated? Through Uplifting Deliveries, your cards will be included in care packages that spread warmth and happiness-one delivery at a time.

Bonus: For every four cards created, girls earn one volunteer hour!

Ronald McDonald House Charities - Your Caring Cards will be included in goody bags for families visiting the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Sunrise Children's Hospital or paired with sweet treats and toys for children who visit the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These small gestures make a big difference for families during difficult times.

This activity encourages girls to:

  • Practice empathy and kindness through art.
  • Use creativity to support families and seniors in our community.
  • Make a direct, meaningful impact-one card at a time.

Whether you come as a troop or as a Juliette, this is a perfect opportunity to earn volunteer hours, express your creativity, and make someone smile.

Help Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada share love, hope, and happiness-one handmade card at a time!
