The GSSNV STEAM Conference continues to inspire girls in 5th- 12th grade to explore and pursue careers in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math. The conference will kick off with a welcome address and hands-on activities to challenge the girls. Participants will participate in breakout sessions, table discussions and hear from our keynote speaker that will challenge girls to make strides in the field of STEM.
This event is open to girls in 5th – 12th grade who are Girl Scouts. All Girl Scouts are asked to wear their Girl Scout uniform. If you do not have a uniform, please wear your Sunday best. No blue jeans or t-shirts.
Lunch and beverages will be provided. For Girl Scouts with dietary restrictions and/or preferences, it is recommended to bring their own packed lunch.
After the event, the participants will receive the annual STEAM conference patch and takeaways.
