Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada announces 2021 'Dessert Before Dinner' Honorees

Tickets and sponsorships for virtual event on April 24 on sale now

LAS VEGAS – Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada announced the seven female leaders who will be recognized at the annual Dessert Before Dinner fundraising gala on Saturday, April 24, which due to COVID-19 will now be a virtual event.

Dessert Before Dinner honors outstanding female leaders who have made a significant and long-lasting impact on the Southern Nevadan community. Their vision, influence and example define what it means to be a Girl Scout – leading a life of courage, confidence, and character. Each honoree will be awarded a unique Girl Scout badge epitomizing their contributions to their profession and community.

The annual fundraising event directly benefits local Girl Scouts who depend on financial aid to engage in outdoor experiences, STEAM activities, entrepreneurship opportunities, and life skills programs. Postponed from an earlier date in 2020, Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada reimagined Dessert Before Dinner into a virtual experience that people can view from the comfort of their homes while enjoying a Girl Scout themed party viewing box with charcuterie, wine, and Girl Scout cookies that come with the purchase of a sponsorship or as a standalone package. Individual viewing tickets also available. More details on sponsorships, party boxes, and tickets available at: www.dessertbeforedinner.org
