Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the tradition of Girl Scouts selling cookies outside of local businesses has been suspended for 2021. Cookie consumers can purchase cookies from their neighborhood Girl Scout, via the GrubHub app, at 57 Green Valley Grocery locations, and via the Cookie Finder app.
1,400 Southern Nevada Girl Scouts are anticipated to sell cookies in 2021. All proceeds raised during cookie season stays in Southern Nevada and helps Girl Scouts attend camp, fund trips, and complete service projects. The ultimate goal of cookie season is to help fund troop activities and to teach Girl Scouts about the importance of financial literacy.
