“Women's Representation in Public Office” panel to feature Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske on Sep. 12
Media Event: Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada is launching a four-part speaker series, “All About Advocacy”, as a vehicle to engage 6th – 12th grade Girl Scouts in local and national government. Participating Girl Scouts will gain an in-depth understanding of how local, state, and federal government works, preparing them to be voters, activists, and political leaders. A bipartisan group of elected officials will participate in each panel session that will be led by a Girl Scout moderator.
