In Person - Girl Scout Gold Award Training
The Gold Award Training is required for Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts interested in earning their Gold Award. Participants will learn about the timeline for the award, the process for the award, interview skills, brainstorming tips and tricks, how to handle finances, and be able to learn about past Gold projects.
Senior and Ambassador girls must complete Journey requirements prior to to beginning work on the Gold Award. Volunteers/Adults are not required to attend with the girls. Adults who are interested in the Gold Award should register for the adult All About the Awards training.
Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada reserves the right to cancel or change any scheduled trainings due to lack of enrollment.
For the security of our girls and volunteers, the doors will lock 15 minutes after the training is scheduled to begin. Late attendees may not be allowed to complete the training and will not be issued a refund.
NOTE: There will be a Q&A panel with the Highest Awards Committee to answer questions directly after this training. Caregivers, Troop Leaders, and girls are invited to attend the Q&A session. Refreshments will be served during the panel.
