Did you know that all of Red Rock Canyon is a Desert Tortoise habitat? The Desert Tortoise is a threatened species protected under the Endangered Species Act. Join us at Red Rock Canyon as we explore to learn about desert wildlife, investigate different animal habitats and learn how we can help protect the wildlife that calls Red Rock home. After the program, we encourage our Junior Rangers and their families to stay and explore all that Red Rock Canyon has to offer like taking the scenic drive. Girls will earn the Junior Animal Habitats badge.

Red Rock Canyon charges a $15 entrance fee per vehicle that enters the park. This fee covers all passengers that are inside of a single vehicle. This program will be held at the Red Springs Picnic Area on Calico Basin Road. Please click here for a copy of the Red Rock Canyon Visitor's Guide which includes a map.
This program is held outside. Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, and wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes.
Adults are required to register, but do not have to pay a registration fee.
Troops must be chaperoned by at least 2 unrelated adults.
Individual girls must be chaperoned by 1 adult.
