"To Science and Beyond" Camporee is designed to teach science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics to girls in a fun and engaging way. Girls will learn basic STEAM skills while making new friends, improving social skills, and camping under the stars. Each troop, group and Juliette must provide their own camping equipment, meals, and transportation to the Clark County Fairgrounds. On Saturday night, we will host a group campfire. Girls will receive a fun patch for this event.

One troop leader or adult from each attending group is required to have completed Outdoor Basics Training* and First Aid/CPR training, and submit a special activity form prior to the September 30th meeting. Individual Girl Members, Juliettes, or 1:1 ratios attending with a guardian/parent must also meet the requirements listed. Please check the events tab of our website to complete your trainings before October 10, 2019. Adults attending this event to fulfill your groups ratios must have a 2020 Membership and an active Background Check through Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada.

*If you have not already completed Outdoor Basics training, Girl Scouts on the Go is a prerequisite to complete Outdoor Basics.

There will be an information meeting that one troop leader or adult from each group is should attend. The meeting will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Girl Scout Office. At this meeting, you will receive details on how to prepare your group for Camporee and ask any questions that you may have.

Troops must be chaperoned by at least 2 unrelated adults.
Individual girls must be chaperoned by 1 adult.

Adult chaperones are required to register for the event.

No pets, RV’s or tag-a-longs are allowed to attend this event.
