Learn To Shoot
Led by instructors from Nevada's five-star outdoor shooting facility, the Clark County Shooting Complex, Girl Scouts will learn firearm safety rules, how to properly and safely shoot a .22 long rifle, and shooting fundamentals. Firearms Safety Class (approx. 90 minutes) will be taught. Girl Scouts will then head to the range where they will shoot 30 rounds of ammunition using .22LR (long rifle) on provided targets. Must be 12 years or older to attend.

Please note: Please be on time the program begans sharply at 8:00 am. Dress appropriately for the weather and the activity. Girls and adults avoid wearing dangling earrings, bracelets,and necklaces that may become entangled in equipment. Tie back long hair, wear closed-toe shoes and sun screen. Bring a bottle of water. Troops must be chaperoned by at least 2 unrelated adults. Individual girls must be chaperoned by 1 adult.
