Have you tried coding once and want to give it another try? Do you love coding and want to improve your skills? Are you interested in starting a Girls Who Code Club but aren't sure where to get started? Get ready to challenge yourself in a way you would not normally expect to as you uncover your knack for coding within a Girls Who Code Club!

Girls Who Code is on a mission to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does. Girls Who Code offers free curriculum to setup after-school programs for 3rd-5th and 6th-12th grade girls to join their sisterhood of supportive peers and role models using computer science to change the world. Through this hands-on experience girls will go through their core values of Sisterhood, Code, and Impact. This event will serve as an info and hands-on session to start at least two Girls Who Code Clubs for Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada.

Volunteers will be needed to sustain the operations of these clubs. To learn more about Girls Who Code please follow this link.
