The trained and certified volunteer instructor will present a standard curriculum as set by the American Red Cross in a dynamic way that will engage multiple learning types. Participation in the entire course, including all activities, is required to receive certification.

Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years through the American Red Cross. This is a required training for 1 adult volunteer present at all Girl Scout troop activities.

This course is for adults who are registered Girl Scout members only. In order to receive certification participants will need to pass certain evaluations that may include a physical skills test and/or a written skills test. Participants who do not pass these evaluations will not receive certification and cannot be issued a refund.
