Join Girl Scouts from across the Southwest and the United States for a weekend of traditional campfire songs, badge work, and mountain adventure!
Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada will host 500 Girl Scout girls and adults for a weekend of fun, music and song - First Come, First Serve. Girl Scout song-leaders and workshop facilitators from multiple councils will come together to offer a weekend of song and GS traditions with workshop sessions for adults and girls as well as badge work for Brownies to Ambassadors.
This event will take place at the beautiful Pali Retreat and Conference Center located near Big Bear, CA, September 28-30, 2018. It includes lodging in cabins with electricity and indoor bathrooms, 5 meals beginning Friday evening through Sunday morning, songfest, campfire, s'mores, break out sessions and badgework.
Every participant will receive and event t-shirt and patch and songbook. Brownies to Ambassador Girl Scouts will receive the materials and instructions to complete a badge in workshop sessions, and they will be given the badge itself. Additional optional activities include a high ropes course (2.5 hours for $50) and a zip line ($10/person/zip).
