Camp Skyland Ranch

Sisters for the Summer

In partnership with our Sisters for the Summer at the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio, campers can choose a 3 night, 4-day camp experience on their own or a weekend with an adult. They’ll make new friends while making memories in the beauty of Southern California.

More About Camp Skyland Ranch:

Located halfway between Banning and Idyllwild, CA in the San Jacinto mountains at 5,100 ft. elevation, Skyland Ranch covers more than 190 acres in the transition from chaparral to pine forest. The beauty and diversity of the property is still evident today through its history as land for native inhabitants to early private apple ranch to its dedication as a Girl Scout camp in 1951. Currently the property can house a little over 100 guests in a variety of rustic cabins. In partnership with Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio, campers will participate in STEM, campfires, and more!

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Transportation to California Camps will depend on a minimum of 20 girls attending the session, and having the required adults to fulfill girl to adult ratios set by GSUSA. Adult Chaperones will have to be approved by Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada. Adult Chaperones must have a membership and background check valid for the 2020 Membership Year, and be in good standing with all GSSNV departments. Chaperones will also need to have completed Volunteer Essentials, CPR & First Aid, and Girl Scouts on the Go Trainings. Register to become a chaperone.
