Camp Scherman Refund Policy

Girl Scouts of Orange County Refund Policy:

If you would like to cancel or receive a refund, a written request is required. Please email your request to customercare@girlscoutsoc.org with the subject line Camp Refund. Please include the full names of those who cannot attend, the camp program name, and the camp date in your request.

All sessions are held in rain, sleet, sunshine, etc., unless the determination is made that conditions are unsafe. Girl Scouts of Orange County reserves the right to cancel a camp session due to low registration. If the session is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.

  • A full refund, minus the deposit, is available if a request to cancel is made more than 4 weeks prior to camp session.
  • No refund will be issued for cancellation requests less than 4 weeks prior to camp session.

*Additional Summer Camp Refund Policies: 

If a camper cannot be placed in any of her selected sessions, a full refund will be issued. If a camper returns home early due to homesickness, unacceptable behavior or upon parental request, a refund will not be issued. If a camper leaves early due to illness or injury, any refund will be prorated. Parents/guardians are responsible for making all travel arrangements if a camper leaves early.
