Virtual Troop Meetings

Before any online meetings with girls, please be sure to review Safety Activity Checkpoints - Virtual Troop Meetings and the COVID-19 Guidance for Meetings and Activities!

We have included a list of free and low-cost conferencing tools that could be useful to you in support of virtual meetings and events. We encourage troop leaders to look at these and alternative options and discuss with parents and girls the best solution for your troop’s needs during this challenging time.

While all of these options have a free version, please note that you may be prompted to consider upgraded versions for a subscription fee.

We want to know what's popular! Let us know what platform you like best for your troop meetings.

Need help getting started? Check out Getting Started With Virtual Troop Meetings for important tips, a sample troop agenda and an introduction to Zoom!

Girl Scout Activities for Home

(GSUSA) Girl Scouts at Home

Find badge activities with video tutorials for each grade level at GSUSA's webpage, Girl Scouts at Home. Don't forget to check out their Virtual Event Calendar, too!

Check out the newly launched Camp Adventures at Home! You'll find Virtual Camp Marketplace for more camp opportunities at councils around the country. Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada will be hosting Camp-ish and hope to see you there!

All across the country, we're navigating though uncharted waters. Though things may look and feel very different, maintaining your girl's connection to Girl Scouts can bring her a sense of normalcy and security. Take some time to explore Girl Scout activities at home by reading through Keep Girl Scouts Going: A Guide for Troop Parents & Caregivers and consider meeting with your troop virtually.

We are proud to announce our support of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation and their 3rd annual #BeKind21 campaign.

As communities across the world face the trauma of a pandemic, the ongoing racial inequalities, and a host of global challenges, this year’s campaign has been uniquely designed to be responsive to today’s movements. From September 1st to September 21st, the Campaign invites schools and colleges, corporate partners, non-profit partners, and all other participants to integrate kindness in their daily lives. GSSNV created a kindness calendar for the month of September that directly correlates to the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
