This independent study course provides troop leaders instruction on organizing and facilitating activities with girls that involve overnight stays including in the home, Girl Scout facilities, camping activities with sleep in cabins, hotels, and educational lock-in programs. Topics include the principles of overnight progression and girl readiness assessment, how to infuse girl centric planning into program delivery, and how to evaluate what resources will be needed. This course is not considered valid without having completed the Moving Away from Your Meeting Place Independent Study packet.
