MEdia

Cadettes put the "me" in MEdia as this journey encourages them to explore the great big multi-media world around them and then remake media to better match the reality they know. Along the way, Cadettes become aware of the value of media, its limitations and effect and the power they have to lead and inspire others. Imported.
Cadettes look for the ME in media and learn how they can shape media—for themselves, their community and the world.

Earning the LiA
Girl Scouts has always had a tradition of older girls helping younger girls. That's what the LiA (Leader in Action) Award is all about. The LiA encourages Cadettes to be key assistants on a Brownie team's A World of Girls journey. All the steps to the award are in the Cadette LiA letter found in the Adult Guide for both the Cadette and Brownie journey, and the downloadable form to the right.
