Event Description

Get ready to ROCK with your Girl Scout sisters! Rock the Dam celebrates Girl Scouting with the exchange of S.W.A.P.S., a sing-a-long and bridging fun with a walk across Hoover Dam. Celebrate a new century of Girl Scouting by gathering where the movement started in Nevada - Boulder City in 1932 with 22 girls. This event is open to registered Girl Scouts and their families, volunteers and alumnae. Girls must have a supervising adult with them throughout the event. The cost is $15 per person (including adults and children 5 years-old and over), and $2 for the patch. Payments are non-refundable.

Timeline

7 a.m.– Check-in opens
7-8 a.m. - S.W.A.P.S., sing-a-long, hands-on activities
8a.m.  Participants prepare for walk
8:15a.m. – Participants start crossing the Hoover Dam
8:30 a.m. – Participants pose for aerial photo
9 a.m.– Event ends

Proceeds support Girl Scout leadership programs.
