CPR and First Aid Certification
Receive CPR and First Aid Certification required for 1 leader per Girl Scout Troop.
The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help both pediatric and adult victims. (Please note, infant CPR and First Aid will not be taught during this course.)
Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
This course is for registered adult members of Girl Scouts only. Participants must attend the full duration of the class. The instructor may require a test, written and/or of physical skills before approving certification and has the final decision on certification. Those who do not meet the certification requirements at the end of the course will not receive a refund.
Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada reserves the right to cancel or change any scheduled trainings due to lack of enrollment. The minimum for this class is 5 and the maximum is 10. For the security of our girls and volunteers, the doors will lock 15 minutes after the training is scheduled to begin. Late attendees may not be allowed to complete the training and will not be issued a refund
