Learn about winter holidays from Sweden, Germany and Japan. Journey to the North as we explore the tradition the Wreath of Candles. Learn about the legend of the Tomten, make traditional woven hearts, dress up in costumes, and dance to beautiful Swedish music!

Discover Germany in December and learn about the Holiday Markets, Gingerbread Hearts, and the origin of Nutcrackers. Girls will make a Gingerbread craft and learn festive German dances while wearing authentic dresses or “Dirndls.” Definitely a photo opportunity!

New Years in Japan is one of the most meaningful celebrations in Japanese culture. Learn about the many customs and activities that take place during this significant holiday. Girls will get to ring the Peace Gong as they make a wish, meet the Lucky Cat, learn traditional dances in Kimono robes, and more!

Please note: Girls will receive a patch the day of the event. Hot chocolate and ginger bread man. Girls and troops/chaperone event. No tag-a-longs. Individual girls must be chaperoned by 1 adult.
