Daisies - Getting Started
Girl Scout Daisies are in grades K-1 and meet in a nurturing, inclusive environment. They go on trips, learn about nature and science, and explore the arts and their communities. Girl Scout Daisies can also earn Learning Petals and receive participation patches.
As a Daisy, girls will begin to:
- Learn the Girl Scout Ways - including the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
- Explore the meaning of citizenship, learning how to respect the rights of others.
- Participate in discussions for troop-planned activities.
- Explore the outdoors, creativity and community.
Daisy Petals
Colored petal badges are earned as girls participate in activities that explore the basic principles and values of Girl Scouting, as described in the Girl Scout Promise and Girl Scout Law.
